This letter is to advise that we have now successfully resolved the claim involving [our client's - name withheld] 2006 Mercedes Benz. As you may be aware, State Farm's expert appraiser, TW Lane, assessed the value of the SL 65 AMG Roadster at $141,680.84. Your analysis and report placed the value of the vehicle at $173,294.00. State Farm offered, and we accepted, a settlement offer which "split the difference" between the two appraisals at $157,487.42. Adding Michigan sales tax and title and transfer fees, and subtracting my client's deductible, we reached a final settlement amount of $166,709.67.

I appreciate your efforts on this file and for the excellent report you authored. Your report was invaluable in getting us to the point of settlement with State Farm. As we have settled this claim, you may proceed to close your file on this claim.
